Diamond Jubilee River Pageant draws the crowds despite the weather
Don't blame me, I said June was going to be rubbish.
I did feel sorry for the Queen today, she couldn’t have picked a worse day for a Jubilee knees-up.
The people in the picture had been out for hours, apparently some overnight.
But despite the weather, the banks of the river Thames were lined with Jubilee revelers who had pitched up early to get a good view of the Pageant as it passed.
Luckily the Daily Express is right on the edge of the river, so I was able to enjoy from the comfort of my desk.
So, although I was going to try and keep this a Jubilee-free zone for the next few days, just for today here are my two snaps of the pageant passing Express towers.
